A NEIGHBORHOOD LIKE NO OTHER
This proposed community is a direct outgrowth of the history of the location. First and foremost is Somerset’s retention of the main house – the former home of Robert Wood Johnson. His home will be restored to its original grandeur, returning to its original likeness and it will be utilized as a community/recreation center.
The 73 townhouses continue the sense of community by fronting them on attractively landscaped pedestrian streets. Designing with a mix of facades, front porches, dormers and other architectural elements will create an aesthetically pleasing streetscape.
In keeping with TND principles, the plan contains an extensive sidewalk. Preserved open spaces on two sides are connected through pedestrian paths to a preserved tree stand. We cannot wait to tell you more … come back to read about our progress!
